Reflections of a Layperson is the fruit of that daily encounter with Christ.
Each reflection begins with the Gospel of the day before, exploring the thoughts, questions and moments of grace that emerge through prayer. They are not theological commentaries or polished homilies, but the honest reflections of one lay Catholic trying to understand what Christ is asking of him and how to live the Gospel more faithfully in everyday life.
You may recognise your own questions within these pages. A reflection may encourage you, challenge you or help you see a familiar Gospel passage in a way you never have before. The hope is simply to draw you back to Scripture, deepen your prayer and help you recognise Christ speaking through His Word.
Because sometimes the greatest homily you will ever hear is the one the Holy Spirit writes upon your own heart.
